主句主干

本句结构较为复杂，主句部分为we must remember further that hosts of plays have been lost,and that probably there is no author of note whose entire work has survived.

非谓语

To realize how great was the dramatic activity，非谓语 to realize 作为句子的目的状语。

宾语从句

宾语从句为：how great was the dramatic activity和that hosts of plays have been lost,and that probably there is no author of note whose entire work has survived.这三个句子都是宾语从句，一个是realize的宾语，由how作为从属连词引导的宾语从句，另外两个句子是remember的宾语，由从属连词that引导的宾语从句。注意宾语从句的识别，以及how的翻译方法，how后面加形容词翻译为多么;how后面加其它词性翻译为如何。

定语从句
