考研英语分为英一和英二，虽然试卷中的五大题型名称一样，但是实际上考察的内容、侧重点和难度都会有所不同。以作文为例，英一考察的是图画作文，英二作文考察的是图表作文。下面英语老师主要讲一下英二图表作文的大致写作思路。
以2019年的考研试题为例，我们看一下2019年的考研试题是什么样子的，以及它是如何考察的。

1) interpret the chart,and
2) give your comments.
You should write about 150 words on the ANSWER SHEET. (15 points)
从2019年的考研试题中，我们可以看出英二大作文考的是图表作文。自从有英二以来，一共考过了四种图表：柱状图（bar chart）、饼图（pie chart）、折线图（line chart）和表格（table）。上图的柱状图也可以转化为表格，所以数字的呈现形式是何种表格并不重要。我们要看到表格的本质。如果按这四种来学习，太过复杂，难以记忆。我们可以将所有图表分成两类：动态图和静态图。我们将有时间变化的成为动态图，它显示的是不同时间段不同对象的变化。将没有时间变化的成为静态图，它反应的是同一时间段不同对象之间的差异。
大作文评分的四个重要标准是：语言准确、内容完整、组织衔接和语言多样。英语水平的高低在作文上可以清晰的体现出来，考察的是大家英语的表达能力。所以我们重点应该放在语言多样上。也就是在用词和句式的丰富上。以下就动态图和静态图展开来讲，给大家提供两个可供参考的模板。一般是采取经典的三段论。三段分别为图画描述段、分析论证段和总结预测段。第一段有所不同，后两段通用。
动态图：
第一段：图表标题、整体变化、最大变化和过渡句

Especially,某指数 has experienced the most dramatic change,jumping from 数字 to 数字 during this time. Obviously,the inclinations,clearly reflected by the chart,should be given more consideration.
静态图：
第一段：图表标题、整体表现、最大差异和过渡句
There is no denying that the chart records +标题,which successfully arouses our curiosity. As is clearly reflected by the chart,总指数 show totally different inclination towards the problem of 问题. Especially,某指数 shows the most obvious inclination that 具体. Obviously,the inclinations,clearly reflected by the chart,should be given more consideration.
第二段：分析可从原因或者影响分析
Theoretically,the trend that 最大变化/差异 brings us many influences,but for my part,the following two are of utmost importance. On the top of list is that +原因/影响一. In addition,there is the other point that no one can ignore. It is universally admitted that +原因/影响二.
第三段：总结预测
Taking into account what has been discussed above,we may safely come to the conclusion that the current situation will continue in the forthcoming years. So it is advisable to maximize its positive effects and minimize the negative ones.
