今天我们来说一下小作文线图的趋势特征。

小作文的线图包含了四个基本趋势，分别是上升，下降，平稳，波动。那我给出的都是动词表达，既然是动词，你就需要注意它的过去式，小作文最重要的一个时态就是一般过去时态，所以说所有的动词的过去式你都需要注意。在这就说两个比较重要的，一个是rise，过去式是rose，还有一个grow，过去式是grew，这两个容易出错。除了这些动词表达之外，你还需要注意它的名词表达，因为你不仅要学会用动词表达上升，你还需要用名词去表达上升画红线的部分，可以做动词也可以做名词。有一些动词的名词形式，比如说像grow，它的名词是growth，然后fluctuate 就是flutuating，是去e+ing就可以了，那么其他的名词我就不多说了。

很多同学为了去投机取巧，就会说老师那我只记住其中的一两个或两三个，可不可以？因为在一篇文章当中我们会出现很多次的上下，平稳，波动，特别是当线数比较多的时候，你光去记住两三个是远远不够的，这样会造成句式非常重复。

解题思路：

在观察饼图时，我们可在脑海中将它转化为柱状图或者折线图，重点关注其变化趋势。可以将上升趋势的Adult fiction和Children's fiction 放在一起描述，下降趋势的Biography和Others以及先升后降的Travel可以放在一起描述

These three pie charts comparethe popularity of five different kinds of books according to the sales of abookseller during forty years.

From 1972 to 2012, the sales offictions witnessed a gradual rise and always ranked the top among thesecategories. In 1972, adult fiction and children's fiction were equally popular,and the sales of these two were both 20%. Then the percentage of adult fictionsurged to 45% in the following 40 years. On the other hand, the sales ofchildren's fiction experienced steady growth and reached 25% in the year 2012.

In contrast, there was adecreasing trend for sales of biography and other books, and biography bookswas less favored than other books in these forty years, and the gaps were 5%,5% and 4% respectively. With regard to the travel books, their popularityexperienced a fluctuation and finally surpassed the figure of biography,arriving at 10% in 2012.

Generally speaking, the salesof fiction continued to rise while biography and other books were lessappreciated during the whole period.
